Delo Baker

Delo Baker is the Executive Director and Vice President of Investor Relations at EB-5 USA, a division of the Patel Family Office.
Delo works closely with some of the area’s most prominent individuals and families to help them think through their intentions for immigration to the United States by investment. His focus is on guiding them to navigate sophisticated financial and familial decisions throughout the process.

Delo views his role as an advocate for clients—assuring them no matter how intricate the financial picture, he along with
members of the family office can provide the resources to facilitate an approach that aligns with their needs. He has significant experience preparing different client cohorts for the next phase of their journeys—business owners facing an overseas liquidity event, students looking for lasting opportunities to remain and work in the US, foreign workers seeking to make permanent arrangements, lifestyle aspirations, and more. Delo’s key areas of strength include securing the highest-quality projects for EB-5 investments, developing the investment plan, and modeling the investment’s path from entering the project to securing a green card while ensuring a return of capital. Relatable as well, he explains these complex concepts in easily understandable terms.

Throughout his career, Delo has built a reputation for his ability to partner alongside immigration attorneys, developers, and
investors to deliver a differentiated product that suits an investor’s needs. Before joining EB-5 USA, he worked at Fisher
Investments, where he served as a Junior Portfolio Manager, leading investment decisions, developing strategy proposals for
institutional clients, and managing portfolio holdings and risk positioning. In his tenure, he managed portfolios for numerous
institutions across various investment mandates valued >$3bn.

As a young boy, Delo spent his early life in Italy where his mother had immigrated from. While living there, he developed a
strong appreciation of different cultures and languages. He frequently visits his family who remain in northern Italy. For the past few years, Delo has been in the process of earning his Italian citizenship.

Delo earned a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting and Strategy from Babson College, recently ranked #2 in
Wall Street Journal’s ranking of the best colleges in the United States. He has also studied in Copenhagen and Italy.
As a resident of Tampa, Delo is actively involved with the First Tee of Tampa and Christ the King. He is an avid athlete
competing in 5Ks, triathlons, Tennis, and Golf tournaments. Recently he has found a new passion for Padel where he seeks
opportunities to grow the game in the United States.
